Sterling Mind ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the ADHD Mind application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App and related services.

Assessment and Symptom Data

ADHD Mind includes self-assessment tools using Visual Analog Scale (VAS) sliders to track your experience of ADHD patterns. This data includes:

  • Your responses to symptom tracking questions
  • Changes in symptom intensity over time
  • Assessment completion history

This assessment data is for self-tracking and wellness purposes only—not medical records or clinical diagnosis.

Device Information

We collect technical information about your device:

  • Device type and operating system version
  • App version and installation date
  • Device identifiers (IDFA, Android Advertising ID where applicable)
  • IP address

Information You Provide

You may voluntarily provide additional information through:

  • Support requests and customer service communications
  • Feedback forms or surveys
  • Optional preference settings

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure located in the United States (Virginia region). We maintain industry-standard encryption protocols for data in transit and at rest.

  • End-to-end encryption for sensitive personal information
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing
  • Restricted access controls—only authorized team members can access personal data
  • Secure authentication and session management

Data Retention

We retain your account information and usage data while your account is active. If you request account deletion, we remove personally identifiable information within 30 days, though aggregate, anonymized data may be retained for product analytics.

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

Payment Processing

Subscription payments are processed through secure payment providers. We do not store full credit card information—only encrypted payment tokens.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

ADHD Mind is intended for users ages 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information and terminate the child's account immediately.

Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided information to the App should contact us at privacy@sterlingmind.com.

8. Health Information Disclaimer

Important: ADHD Mind is a self-care and wellness tool—not a medical device, not a substitute for professional medical care, and not a treatment for ADHD or any other condition.

  • Assessment data collected through the App is for self-tracking and personal awareness only
  • This data does not constitute medical records or clinical diagnoses
  • ADHD Mind is complementary to professional care, not a replacement
  • Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider regarding your ADHD or mental health

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, if necessary, providing additional notice (such as a prominent message in the App).

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
